Ocean View Bistro & Dining

The Ocean View’s Bistro Bar and Dining Room offer a relaxed yet upscale dining experience on the hotel’s second level— where exceptional food meets unforgettable views. Overlooking the Rocky Harbour waterfront, the Oceans Room features panoramic harbour vistas through its expansive windows. New for 2025, our Ocean View Bar serves an elevated menu, handcrafted cocktails, Quidi Vidi craft beers, and access to a brand-new second-level patio with the best sunset views in town.

By day, enjoy a casual meal while watching our charming fishing community in motion. By night, savour a sunset dinner as the coastline glows beneath starry skies and the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse sends its steady beam across the bay.

Our menu highlights Newfoundland’s finest flavours, with locally sourced seafood— lobster, cod, halibut, salmon, shrimp, scallops, mussels— and hearty favourites like premium ribeye and rotisserie chicken. Fresh local ingredients, regional berry desserts, and a curated international wine list complete the experience.

Anchor Pub & Patio

The Anchor Pub is the perfect place to settle in, unwind, and enjoy the simple pleasures of great pub fare, a cold beer, and warm company. Whether you’re reconnecting with old friends or striking up a chat with new ones, the atmosphere here is always relaxed and welcoming. Treat yourself to traditional Newfoundland spirits or dive into our full lineup of Quidi Vidi specialty beers, available both on tap and in bottles for every taste. For casual dining, you can cozy up inside or head out to our waterfront deck, where salty breezes and sweeping views make every meal feel special. With good food, good drinks, and great scenery, The Anchor Pub offers a true Newfoundland experience from the first sip to the last laugh.

The Anchor Pub comes alive with live entertainment six nights a week, making it one of the best spots in Rocky Harbour to spend an evening. If you’ve purchased tickets to the Anchors Aweigh show, be sure to call the pub directly to reserve your table for dinner. It’s the best way to enjoy great food, great music, and a true Newfoundland night out.
