The Ocean View Hotel has been a welcoming landmark in Rocky Harbour since 1971, built on a tradition of Newfoundland hospitality and a deep connection to the community. Originally a small family-run inn, it remains locally-owned and managed. Our hotel grew alongside the rise of tourism in Gros Morne National Park, evolving into a beloved gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Over the years, the hotel has become known not only for its comfortable rooms and stunning harbour views, but also for its 3 dining venues and vibrant cultural experiences—from Kitchen Parties to the famous Anchors Aweigh show. Constantly modernized and updated, our hotel is a warm and inviting place to explore the area. Rooted in local pride and shaped by generations of warm service, the Ocean View Hotel continues to share the spirit of Newfoundland with every guest who walks through its doors.
