The Ocean View Hotel is proud to announce our 2026 Summer Music Series lineup!
Music is at the heart of Newfoundland and Labrador's culture and one of the many reasons visitors are drawn to our province year after year. From traditional tunes to lively singalongs, there's nothing quite like experiencing Newfoundland music in the place where it was born.
Alongside our popular Anchors Aweigh Show and our weekly Newfoundland Kitchen Party with Dave Shears, we're excited to welcome a variety of talented guest performers throughout the season to entertain both locals and visitors alike.

Tammy is a talented local Western Newfoundland singer, songwriter and musician. Her music has a country feel with a touch of Newfoundland spirit. Tammy’s song writing was greatly influenced by the classic country singers she grew up listening to like George Jones, Don Williams, Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. Her performance is a blend of traditional Newfoundland music and country favorites as well as original songs!
Currently you can find recordings of acoustic versions of her songs on all online stores and she just released her produced album in 2022 entitled Backwoods Beautiful.

Kitchen Party

Traditional tunes, spontaneous dancing, and plenty of local charm, our Kitchen Party is an authentic taste of Newfoundland’s warm and welcoming spirit. Join local recording artist Dave Shears and get “Screeched In” Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during the season.

Anchors Aweigh
EVERY MONDAY / WEDNESDAY / FRIDAY AT 8:00PM
Anchors Aweigh is a beloved Newfoundland band known for their lively music, quick humour, and heartfelt storytelling. Their energetic performances capture the true spirit of the province and are a must-see for visitors to Gros Morne every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the season.
